Lamb Meatballs with Mint Yogurt Dip

Juicy spiced lamb meatballs with a cool mint yogurt dip for passing around warm.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 garlic cloves, grated
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt, pepper, and olive oil

Method

  1. Mix lamb with breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Roll into small meatballs and chill for 10 minutes.
  3. Sear in olive oil until browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir yogurt with mint, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  5. Serve the warm meatballs with the mint yogurt for dipping.
