Ingredients

- 4 apples, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Pinch of salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/3 cup fresh mint leaves

Dessert
A flaky cheddar crust holds sweet apples, honey, lemon, and fresh mint after baking.
Add mint after the honey so the leaves stick lightly to the apple filling.
