Paneer Skewers with Mint Cilantro Chutney

Golden paneer skewers with peppers and onions, dipped in sharp mint cilantro chutney.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces paneer, cubed
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 green chile
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 cup yogurt, salt, and oil

Method

  1. Thread paneer, pepper, and onion onto skewers.
  2. Brush with oil, garam masala, and salt.
  3. Grill or broil skewers until paneer is golden at the edges.
  4. Blend cilantro, mint, chile, lime juice, yogurt, and salt into chutney.
  5. Serve hot skewers with mint cilantro chutney.

Fresh Mint Tip

Use tender mint leaves and small stems in chutney; thick stems can make it fibrous.
