Mint Coriander Chaas

Thin, savory buttermilk blended with mint, cilantro, ginger, and roasted cumin.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chilled buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/3 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

  1. Blend mint, cilantro, ginger, cumin, salt, and water until smooth.
  2. Whisk the herb mixture into the chilled buttermilk.
  3. Taste and add salt if needed.
  4. Pour into small glasses.
  5. Serve very cold with a pinch of cumin on top.
